It has been a day

It has been a wonderfully chaotic good day. I can say that, because the day has ended on a good note. Everyone on is home safely and the bills are all paid. Today after getting dressed and heading out to buy groceries, I come home to my older brother parked out in front of my house. Okay. He tells me not to go in my house. Really? This is odd, but I let him go in first. He checks out the place. Apparently while I was gone, someone broke in to my house. The alarm scared them off and the police came by and re locked my house. I am over simplifying this but....yeah. Nothing was taken. Nothing was add to everything else that I have. So we lucked out. I had to make phone calls and check on the neighbors. It is a good day, because in the end even thought I am going to be very careful about make sure the house is locked up we are all safe.

The sweater if from Forever 21, so long ago I do not think they sell anything like it anymore. The dress is also from Forever 21 ( click here and here for similar dresses). The green top is from JC Penny's.

Pink and blue

So it was a busy day at work. I wanted to be able to move around and still look semi-professional. I layered a tank top under sheer shirt. This work out nicely as the shirt had lace detailing were the sleeves meet the shoulders. This hide the straps of my tank top, dressing it up. The bright blue pants added color while sitting off the brown cardigan nicely. The white top is form BKE . The tank top is from American Eagle. The pant are from JC Penny's and the cardigan is New York and Company.

Busch Garden's fun ^_^

This is at the front  of Loch Ness Monster. 

So yesterday a friend and I  went to Busch Garden's!!!! It was wonderful. A little cold, around 35 degrees fahrenheit. We got there about 9:30 am, but becuase it was so cold, there was a  wait before the roller coasters would run. The only one running was Loch Ness.  Around 11 am we were able to ride Alpengesit. We were able to ride up front, as the lines were so short. After 11 am we rode all the roller coaster rides in the park. the favorite of the day was Apollo's Chariot .It is the tallest and longest ride in the park. I was a be partial tot he nice river cruise, but that might have had to do with being able to sit down for a good fifteen minutes and just watch the world go by. I was unable to collect pressed pennies this time around, I forgot. Next time I will and show you how to make an simple craft with them.

Shift dress flowers

As it was a horribly rainy day. I want to wear something springy. I have never worn this dress until today and I do not know why. It is a lovely dress. I matched it with brown and maroon. Maybe be more autumn than spring but nice none the less.

Rainy days are here to stay

I did not want to get out of bed today. But I had too. I got up and threw on a sweater, it was very cold this morning. It still is quite chilly. There is talk of freezing rain and ice. I thought we were past that. Past the tinkling of ice, chiming off the windshields. Past the howling wind. I had thought we had made it into the clear. To warm winds and fields of flowers. To spring. *shigh* Maybe it is just a few more days off.

Lunch was about the time I felt human. I made a simple tomato soup and grilled cheese.

Mint and Grey

This is a nice spring work outfit. I was inspired by a pair of mint green trouser socks that I own, that have grey  leaves on them. It looked so nice. So, I built an outfit based off them.  I also had a shell for my demi sized miche that matched.

Inner Geek ^_^

This just made my inner geek smile. A lovely blue nail polish. TARDIS blue some would call it.  It is named Baker Street.  I see what you did there
