Halfway around the world, Scarlet Benoit's grandmother is missing. It turns out there are many things Scarlet doesn't know about her grandmother or the grave danger she has lived in her whole life. When Scarlet encounters Wolf, a street fighter who may have information as to her grandmother's whereabouts, she is loath to trust this stranger, but is inexplicably drawn to him, and he to her. As Scarlet and Wolf unravel one mystery, they encounter another when they meet Cinder. Now, all of them must stay one step ahead of the vicious Lunar Queen Levana, who will do anything for the handsome Prince Kai to become her husband, her king, her prisoner

Book Received: Rented

Why I Picked it up:  I wanted to read more of the world Meyer had created and to see how Red Ridding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf fit into the story. Cinder's sceret is out, well at lest to a few people. While being hunted by the young man she loves she must find a way to save him and stop a war.

Cinder gather friends and allies in her " Captain" Thorne who help in her prison break, Iko her android friend, Wolf, who has is own links to Queen Levana and Scarlet who needs to find her grandmother.
Why I finished it: Scarlet continues the strong story and world building of the previous novel, Cinder. It also has a fast pace plot and interesting characters who learning form what the have done and from each other.

Who I would give it to: Everyone
